Our Girls were Cosmetic Chemists for a week during Spring Break Camp. They learned all about the foundations of Chemistry. Thereafter, they made lotion, eyeshadow, soap, & so much more. They also learned about entrepreneurship and sold the cosmetics to customers. 100% of proceeds went to Esteem Girls scholarship fund.

What is a Cosmetic Chemist?

A Cosmetic Chemist is a Scientist who tests & makes the products you and your mom love to wear everyday. Lipstick, eyeshadow, blush, lotion & so much more.

In order to become a Cosmetic Chemist you often study Chemistry or another science during college. After college you enroll in graduate school and major in Cosmetic Science. Watch these inspiring stories from Cosmetic Chemist girls of color!
